We are looking for a skilled Magento Developer to customize, enhance, and integrate modules for our Prelegant website. Built on a third-party platform, we now aim to tailor it to our business needs by developing custom functionalities, integrating APIs, and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Magento 2 development, including module customization, API integration, and theme modifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and enhance the existing Magento-based Prelegant website.
- Develop and integrate custom Magento modules to extend platform functionality.
- Implement and optimize third-party API integrations (payment gateways, shipping, etc.).
- Improve website performance, scalability, and security through best practices.
- Develop and modify Magento themes to match brand aesthetics and user experience needs.
- Debug and troubleshoot Magento-related issues, ensuring smooth performance.
- Implement Magento security patches and version upgrades.
- Work with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and DevOps.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all custom developments and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in Magento 2 development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML.
- Expertise in Magento module and theme development.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
- Experience with Magento performance optimization (Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch, etc.).
- Proficient with Git, Composer, CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of server architecture and Magento Cloud deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Magento or Zend certification.(preferred but not mandatory).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento Commerce Cloud).
- Knowledge of React.js or Vue.js for headless Magento development.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and New Relic.
- Experience working with multi-store and multi-language Magento setups.
- Exposure to WooCommerce and WordPress for project management.
